Av alla skärmar vi testat har vi inte träffat på någon skärm, med de oerhört säkra egenskaperna som Sting har, kombinerat med de trevliga, lite dynamiskt vassare egenskaperna, om man "drar den" lite mer.

Anledningen till Swings försäljningsstatistik på Sting'en ligger i dess handhavande. Den otroligt bekymmersfria starten (den lättaste skärmen att göra framåtstart med, bland de skärmar vi testat), tillsammans med den välkontrollerade landningen, gör att denna skärm passar både för erfarna piloter, och nybörjare fastän detta är en klass 1-2 skärm!

I NAJA har Powerplay har lyckats bygga in deras välkänt suveräna start och landningsgenskaper i den första vassa motorskärmen med DULV "Advanced" klassificering.

Powerplay hade som mål att designa en skärm med liten area för avancerad flygning och dynamiska manövrer (belastning >= 4.5 kg/m²) men med konventionell skärmprofil och korta linor. Efter noggranna datormodeller och beräkningar lyckades man behålla optimerade startegenskaper och samtidigt få optimala prestanda med hög skärmstabilitet och mycket kontrollerbart uppförande vid extrema manövrer.

Små trimjusteringar på Naja har stor påverkan på hastigheten, eftersom trimjusteringar inte påverkar profilen, utan hela skärmens anfallsvinkel. Piloter kan själva enkelt byta trimremmarna om de blir slitna efter mycket användning.

Skärmen reagerar förutsägbart på styrutslag utan någon fördröjning och utan några negativa tendenser. Tajta svängar med hög bankning kommer att förvåna även de mest erfarna piloter positivt!

En ytterligare styrka hos Naja är förmågan att omvandla motorns kraft effektivt vid stigning. Även vid full gas ligger Naja bara minimalt bakom piloten och därför vid en högprestanda-anfallsvinkel.

Precis som andra Powerplay skärmar är det mycket lätt at "få luft" i denna skärmen, även vid framåtstart i svag vind och detta är den definitivt ensam om, bland de många högprestanda motorskärmar vi testat.

Naja är avsedd för paramotorpiloter som redan har stor erfarenhet. Naja täcker in hela spektrumet vid paramotorflygning, men dess styrka ligger vid tajta dynamiska svängar!

In July 2001, type certification was discontinued for what is termed “lightweight air sports equipment” with a maximum unladen weight of 120kg (LuftVZO § 1 para. 4 – German Air Traffic Licensing Regulations). Since that time, along with paramotor wings, lightweight, two-seater paramotor trikes have been increasing in popularity.
At the same time, paramotor trike manufacturers are often forced to go back to less powerful motors because of the strict weight specifications and the noise measurements associated with type certification. 4-stroke motors are also used here.
,POWERPLAY has responded to the special requirements of this group of customers with the TUSKER, and is offering a high-performance wing with forgiving handling at a maximum take-off weight of 316kg.

Development:
The concept of the TUSKER satisfies the requirements placed on paramotor wings for “lightweight” tandem trikes to a high level.
The profile is extremely stable at its pressure point and this, together with the wing form, ensures optimal lift distribution, so that the TUSKER efficiently converts the thrust from the motor when climbing. Unintentional pitch movements are excellently “absorbed” by the TUSKER.
The profile used is very thin to the trailing edge, allowing acceptable control pressure to be realised even with high loads.
A very neutral rising behaviour is achieved through the combination of sweep and canopy curvature, which minimises the risk of overbalancing with the trike during the inflation phase because of the glider pulling sideways.
All of the materials used and stitching were without exception designed for heavy duty use, which is evidenced by the fact that it successfully passed the load test with a max. peak of approx. 3000kg.

Flight characteristics:
The TUSKER will impress you by its very balanced flight behaviour, and it gives both the pilot and the passenger a feeling of safety during flight.
During tests, problems with canopy stability were provoked but, even then, the TUSKER was not overly dynamic. This feature markedly reduces the risk of uncontrollable flight attitudes through pilot error.
The 6cm trim travel makes it possible to counterbalance stronger counter-torque as well, and/or to increase the trim speed by nearly 10 km/h.

Design:
The design of the TUSKER is based on the current POWERPLAY product range. The bottom surface has for the most part been kept white to make it easier for pilots to affix logos to it later on. If you would like an individual design, SWING offers you the option of creating your own special designs and logo gliders (for an additional charge).

SWING's paramotor brand POWERPLAY has developed the SCORPIO, the new reflex wing, and tested it according to the most exacting of considerations. In charge of this was multiple German champion and record holder Peter Schulz, who followed every step of development extremely carefully and thus had considerable input into the development of the SCORPIO.

The Scorpio can be launched perfectly even in 0-wind or variable wind because it has little tendency to overshoot. The pilot must hold the canopy slightly at its vertex. Once in its element, the Scorpio can be flown easily and very dynamically. Fuel economy and its high speed range make the sporty Scorpio suitable for all advanced recreational pilots who enjoy flying cross-country, or those who are considering the idea of entering competitions to match themselves against other pilots.
